With fifteen years of experience designing sophisticated residences throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and in such diverse locales as Rancho Santa Fe, Houston and New York, Sarah Hoover has distinguished herself as an industry leader with an increasing focus toward sustainable design.  Elegance and functionality are the hallmarks of her interiors, which are crafted with an eye toward the slightly unexpected, and a balanced mix of traditional elements and present day gems.

Client collaboration is also essential to successful and inspired design solutions, therefore, Sarah works directly with each client to ensure their design aspirations are fully realized and budgets are maintained.  She also values the impact of other cultures on the context of our own living spaces and to keep her creativity fresh and innovative she travels frequently, garnering new aspects of design to excite her clients in the transformation of their own surroundings.  Her goal is to provide creative concepts that enhance her clients’ quality of life, thus allowing them to live beautifully.

Sarah completed her design degree in Interior Architecture at the University of California, Davis and after a decade in residential remodeling and design in San Francisco, she established her own firm, SARAH HOOVER interiors, in 2009.  Her firm partners with a solid, professional team of architects, contractors, artisans, and industry associates to fully meet the needs of large and small scale projects alike.

When projects dictate, SARAH HOOVER interiors partners with experts in the field, working together to complete your project with utmost craftsmanship. Often, Sarah will bring on fellow designer Robin Heard and together both senior level designers work simultaneously to contribute to the design process.
